Mimaki UCJV - Instant cutting

Print and Cut, or Instant Cut, is the action of printing, and then cutting immediately after the printing process, without cutting and ejecting the sheet. It usually is done without adding cut marks.

The Instant cutting area is where you select the action to Print and Instantly Cut:

  1. If you have not set the cutter setting during profiling, open the Printer Settings of your driver and go to the Media tab. The four last parameters have to be set according to your media (these parameters only deal with Instant cutting):
    • Cut tool: Allows you to select the cut tool according to the panel.
    • Cut speed: Sets the speed of the blade.
    • Cut acceleration: Sets the blade acceleration.
    • Cut force: Sets the cut depth.
