Print Settings - Print Module.png

The Print Module Interface allows you to define the following print settings:

  • Copies: Number of copies you wish to print.
  • Pages: Allows you to choose the page(s) to print.
  • Resolution: List of available resolutions for the selected profile.
  • Loading: List of available page formats and/or roll widths.
  • Media: List of available media for the selected profile.
  • Mode: List of available modes for the selected profile.
  • Quality: List of available print qualities for the selected profile.
  • Action:
    • Print: RIP and Print the file simultaneously.
    • RIP: RIP the file, then hold it in the Spooler module.
    • RIP then Print: RIP the entire file first, and then send it to Print.
    • Nest: Nest all images sent to the printer, then hold them in the Spooler.
  • Keep Ripped file: When this box is checked, the sent file remains in the Spooler even after being printed (so you can re-print the job from the Spooler).

Notes

  • The Resolution, Media, Mode, and Quality settings are directly related to color management and profiling, processes that are carried out in the EasyMedia module before starting to print with a new device or a new media. You may also be interested in reading:

  • If you select an unavailable setting or a wrong combination of settings, a warning will appear when you hit the Print button.
