CustomLoading enables you to apply a custom page format for printing "on the fly", without having to create a new page format in the ServerAdmin module.
Info
Some printers do not support CustomLoading.
Good to know
It is possible to save CustomLoading settings into presets for future use. These presets can also be used for automation purposes with QuickPrint. Visit the specialized section for more information.
Steps to use CustomLoading
- Select Custom (...) as Loading in the Print Module main interface:
- Then click on the first icon to open the Page Setup module.
- In the Main tab, display the settings by clicking the (+) button.
Caution
Do not forget to use the Unit selection at the bottom left of the window (blue rectangle) to change the unit used to set the dimensions (choice is between Pixels, Inches, and Millimeters).
- Under the Format field, you can see the Custom (...) as you have selected it in step 1. It is a duplicate of the Loading field
- Then choose the type of loading between Sheet and Roll
- Finally, enter the dimensions: Width and Height (for Sheets) and the Margins (Top, Bottom Left, and Right). Use Homogeneous margins to set all margins to the same value automatically.
Info
The dimensions are displayed in the Format name between parentheses as shown above for a sheet and a roll format.
