AutoLoading asks the printer for its Loading Format which refers to the way information about media types and printer capabilities is transferred from the printer to the RIP software.
It is then automatically selected in case there is no exact match in the list by using the CustomLoading.
Is my printer compatible with AutoLoading?
The AutoLoading feature is not universally available for every printer since not all printers can provide this information or transfer it to the CalderaRIP system.
To check if your printer supports AutoLoading, go to the Print Module main interface, and check the Loading field. If a button with arrows ( ) is visible in the Menu, it means that AutoLoading is available:

Caution
Please note that file printers generally do not support AutoLoading.
Steps to use AutoLoading
- On the Print Module main interface, go to the Loading field and then click on the button with arrows ( ):
- The Custom format is automatically selected with the right size:
- You can also use AutoLoading on the Page Setup window. Go to the Main tab, and display the Page settings by clicking the (+) button:
- Next to the format field, click on the button with arrows ( ):
- You can see that the Format is changed for the first Custom and that all the dimensions and margins are automatically changed.
As for CustomLoading, the dimensions are displayed in the Format name between parentheses:
- Then you can continue to set your Print.
