Print_module_interface_PS.png

The ? button is a HelpLink. It will give you more information about the Print module.

Modes

The 3 models support the following modes:

  • CMYK
  • CMYKk
  • CMYKcm
  • CMYKcmk
  • CMYKO
  • CMYKOGV

Excepted for S models (Impala-4S-i, Nyala-4S-i) which only support:

  • CMYK

  Tips & tricks

If you want to use a mode based on CMYKc mode, you need to choose the CMYKcm mode. The Light magenta ink still needs to be mapped in the ink reordering of the Printer settings, otherwise, there will be an error message. As this channel is empty in reality, only inks for CMYKc will be addressed.

The printer supports Inkset management in EasyMedia*, please see the article on our Helpdesk.

*EasyMedia is named ProfileExpert in the TextilePro interface.

By default, 4 Special Inks are linked to the printer:

  • Primer
  • Varnish
  • White Underlay
  • White Overlay

Please refer to the Spot Inks section for more information about using these special inks.

There is a difference between Qualities and Materials. Qualities are predefined settings of passes. Those are used in combination with Materials. Materials are used as profiled material. All the custom Qualities and Materials can be defined in the Amber controller by the Operator.

Actions

As they are printers with a controller, they support only two actions:

  • Print
  • Nest

You cannot Rip or Rip then Print or Keep the ripped file with these printers.
