Set Ink Levels and Locks in CalderaColor

This article outlines how to adjust ink levels and apply locks in CalderaColor.

Use the left panel to modify ink values that have been imported or entered manually. Lock specific values when needed to prevent accidental changes and maintain consistent color settings.

Adjust ink values

  1. Find the ink in the left panel.
  2. Move its slider or enter a percentage in its number field.
  3. Review the updated preview.
Black-theme ink controls with percentage fields, locks, low-ink warnings, and Purify buttons.

Respond to a low-ink warning with Purify

A low-ink warning appears when an active ink is above 0% but below the configured warning threshold. Increase its value to keep it in the recipe, or use Purify to remove it:

Click Purify in the low-ink warning to reset the ink to 0% and automatically lock it.

Lock an ink

Click the lock beside an ink to keep its base value fixed. Unlock it to include it in variations again.

Configure the active inkset and warning threshold. Next, create ColorBook variations.
