This article explains how to apply a check/fix profile manually or automatically to input or output files in PrimeCenter.

When working with multipage PDFs, the check/fix profile is applied to all pages.
Applying a profile manually
To an input file
- Select one or more images in the File manager.
- Right-click and select Check/Fix to open the configuration window.
- Choose a check/fix profile from the list.
- Adjust settings if needed.
- Click Continue to apply the check/fix profile to the file.
To an output file

In a recipe, go to Output check/fix profile module
(for print files) or Cut output check/fix profile module
(for cut files).
- Choose a check/fix profile from the list.
- Adjust settings if needed.
- Select the layouts you want to export.
- Click the export button.
- In a recipe, open Export settings.

In the Print files tab, locate Print output check/fix profile and select a profile from the list.

If you are using a cutter and want to apply a profile to the cut files, go to the Cut files tab and select a profile in the Cut output check/fix profile section.
- Click Save to quit the export settings window.
- Select the layouts you want to export.
- Click the export button to export layouts manually.
Applying a profile automatically
To apply a profile automatically within a workflow:
Set up an input folder
- In the Input module
, define a folder where files will be imported.
✅ Select a check/fix profile to apply during file import
- In Input check/fix profile module
, select a profile for imported files.
- Adjust settings if needed.
Enable automatic export
- In Print file options
, enable Automatic print file export and select an output folder.
- If using a cutter, in Cut file options
, enable Automatic cut file export.
✅ Select a check/fix profile to apply during print file export
- In Output check/fix profile module
, select a profile for print files.
- Adjust settings if needed.
✅ If you are using a cutter and want to apply a profile to the cut files, select a check/fix profile to apply during cut file export
- In Cut output check/fix profile module
, select a profile for cut files.
- Adjust settings if needed.
Run the recipe
- Run the recipe. Files placed in the input folder will be processed, and the selected check/fix profile will be applied automatically during the import and export phases.
Set up an input folder
- Go to the Files tab and open Import settings.
- Define a Hotfolder where files will be imported.
✅ Select a check/fix profile to apply during file import
- Under Tools, click to open the tool list.
- Select Input check/fix profile to apply profiles automatically during file import.
- Choose a check/fix profile from the list.
- Adjust settings if needed.
✅ Select a check/fix profile to apply during print file export
- Open Export settings.
- In the Print files tab, enable Automatic print file export and select an output folder.
- Locate Print output check/fix profile and select a profile from the list.
✅ If you are using a cutter and want to apply a profile to the cut files, select a check/fix profile to apply during cut file export
- In the Cut files tab, enable Automatic cut file export.
- Locate Cut output check/fix profile and select a profile from the list.
- Click Save to quit the export settings window.
Run the recipe
- Run the recipe. Files placed in the input folder will be processed, and the selected check/fix profile will be applied automatically during the import and export phases.
Final result
Applying a check/fix profile results in:
- A checked/modified file.
- (Optional) A PDF report detailing applied checks and fixes.
- (Optional) An XML report for automated workflows.
Combining multiple profiles
Since V3.0, all packages support the application of multiple check/fix profiles.
You can:

Select and configure additional profiles to apply to files.

Drag and drop profiles to reorder their execution sequence.
