Driver history

CalderaRIP V18.1:
- Only W drivers: Fixed issues related to abortion and errors when printing multi-layer jobs. Previously, if an error occurred during the printing process, the software could lock and repeatedly display the error message "unable to request slave raster data!" for subsequent jobs. A driver restart was necessary to resume printing.
- Resolved ICC profile override issue during a “Missing preset-only synchronization”. In earlier versions, the local ICC profile was incorrectly replaced by the printer's ICC profile during this process.
-
CalderaRIP V18:
- Revision A: The "CAD_Lines" resolution has been renamed to 600, and the "Graphics" resolution has been renamed to 300.
Warning
These changes do not impact print quality; however, they will result in the loss of existing driver configurations, including presets and profiles, as they are linked to the previous resolution names.
Before updating your driver, you can back up your presets (an .xml file), as a reference when recreating them from scratch. For media profiles, you must re-synchronize and recalibrate the media after the update.

- Also, within the ServerAdmin module, there is a Misc tab where you will find options to fix unexpected behaviors with your HP Latex FSX0(W) devices:

Low-level report: This is the driver's log. If your driver presents unexpected behaviors, this feature is useful for identifying the problem.
1. Check the corresponding box to enable it and restart the driver to validate the changes (the software will prompt you for this).
2. Once the low-level reports are enabled, reproduce the issue.
3. Save/Recover the report to check what's wrong with the driver. - Driver reset: This will remove any cache file kept internally by the driver to "reset" the driver to "factory default". Clicking this button will remove the internal media database, internal quality index, and the ICC cache file.
