Troubleshooting

  • If you are an Ubuntu user experiencing issues with corrupted TIFF files, please refer to the dedicated article.
  • Also, within the ServerAdmin module, there is a Misc tab where you will find options to fix unexpected behaviors with your HP Latex R530 devices:

Example from another HP model

    • Low-level report: This is the driver's log. If your driver presents unexpected behaviors, this feature is useful for identifying the problem.
      1. Check the corresponding box to enable it and restart the driver to validate the changes (the software will prompt you for this).
      2. Once the low-level reports are enabled, reproduce the issue.
      3. Save/Recover the report to check what's wrong with the driver.
    • Driver reset: This will remove any cache file kept internally by the driver to "reset" the driver to "factory default". Clicking this button will remove the internal media database, internal quality index, and the ICC cache file.
