You can import images into PrimeCenter manually using several methods.

- A file that already exists in the File manager cannot be reimported unless it has been modified with a preflight profile.
- You can import images quickly using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl/Cmd + O.
Using the File manager
To import images via the File manager:
- Open a recipe and navigate to the File manager.
- Click the Open button.
- Browse to the folder containing your images.
- Select one or multiple images to import.
- Click Open to load the selected images into the File manager.

Drag and drop
Simply drag and drop images from your file explorer into the File manager.
Good to know
If you drag and drop images directly into the Studio, they will be inserted directly into the layout if it is unlocked.
Using the OS menu
Alternatively, use the File menu:
- From the File menu, choose Open image.
- Browse to the folder with your images, select them, and click Open to load images into the opened recipe.
