CalderaRIP V14 - What's new?

We are proud to present the new Version 14 of CalderaRIP software.

This time around we’ve put the focus on developing better Workflows and Hotfolders, meaning that users will experience increased production capacity and less downtime. 

General

• macOS 11 Big Sur Ready - Intel platform
• Drop of macOS 10.10 and 10.11 support
• Removed Caldera Dock from ISO/DMG + message if CalderaDock is not installed
• CalderaDock on Linux comes now as an auto-extractable installer (no more a .deb that needs gdebi to be installed or to install it with command-line) based on AppImage format.

CalderaCare Features

• Smart Import - Extract meta-data from filenames
  • Exclusive to CalderaCare customers – file-based workflows will link to PrimeCenter and V14 by automatically loading and processing meta-data, like the number of copies of each prepared layout
• Fotoba ASP - Bigger Bar codes
  • Support for Fotoba Automatic Slicing Positioning can now handle up to nine blades.

• APPE 5.5 - FineLine Rendering
  • Adobe PDF Print Engine 5.5 introduces a FineLine Rendering algorithm for sharper thin lines and more readable small texts, for reliable reproduction on any surface and in any manufacturing process. 
• Smart Hotfolders - Parallelization and post-processing options
  • Time savings of up to 35% on PDF workflows thanks to the parallelization of Hotfolder queues. 
  • Even greater time savings – up to 65% – for TIFF workflows for industrial and textile printers. 
• QuickConfig - Freeze the current configuration
  • Reduce time spent managing configurations by up to 20% as QuickConfig allows greater flexibility when submitting jobs from the Image Bar.
