This guide explains how to move or rehost a Caldera license to a new or existing computer due to a computer replacement or license-related issue (e.g. error 004FFFF).
In such cases, rehosting and re-registering the license to the newly generated fingerprint ensures proper activation and functionality on the new computer.
Warning
The rehosting option can be used up to five times for valid and up-to-date Caldera licenses.
If you have reached the maximum number of re-hosts, please contact Caldera support for further assistance.
