Sympton
An “AMM Exhausted” error during the ripping process.
Issue
This error indicates that the Adobe PDF Print Engine is running out of resources.
Solutions
- If the printer driver allows it, set the print action to "RIP then Print" to see if this resolves the issue.
- Additionally, in the global settings of Adobe PDF Print Engine, change the "Flattening Behavior for Printing" from Standard to Global (or vice versa). For further details, please refer to this troubleshooting article.
- Consider ripping the file at a lower resolution, as outlined in the relevant troubleshooting. If necessary, also disable 16-bit rendering to avoid memory allocation errors during the ripping process.
- If possible, try to reduce the file size or to flatten the image before importing it into CalderaRIP.
- Investigate the file in the design software to check if it might be faulty.
