Driver history
Drivers 2024.10.0
- Fixed: Fixed an error that prevented the display of error messages from these drivers, as they were overlapped by other software errors.
- New: Added support for Mimaki TxF150 and TxF300 printers.
Installation
These printer drivers are included in the software installation package for macOS and Linux. However, Windows users require an additional installation from the Mimaki website:
Supported output method
- TCP/IP: Print files are sent directly to the printer controller over an Ethernet connection.
Info
Other connection types may be supported but are not recommended, as they can cause unstable connectivity or unpredictable behavior. For connection guidance, see the troubleshooting article.
Configure the printer
- Hostname or IP address: Enter the hostname or IP address of the workstation running the printer controller. Using an IP address is recommended.
- Data port: The port used to send print data to the workstation running the printer controller. Keep the default value of 11110.
- Status Port: The port used to receive printer status information. Keep the default value of 11111.
Warning
These printers accept only the default data and status ports. Changing either port may cause printing failures and interrupt production.
Good to know
Remote mode is required when printing with CalderaSubmit DTF, as it allows the printer to print incoming data.
To activate Remote mode, press the corresponding button on the printer’s control panel. For details, see page 17 of the operation manual.
Configure the inkset
See Custom Inkset / Ink Channel Configuration.
Configure the preset
The following settings are configured at the preset level.
Print quality
Choose from the available print quality settings, which combine resolution, pass count, speed, and print direction. Select the setting that best balances print quality and production speed.
Colors
Available color modes depend on the inkset configured at the device level.
Other settings
For other preset settings, see Configure a preset.
