This article explains how to use the Jobs queue in the VisualCut interface to view, manage, and locate cutting jobs.
The Jobs queue displays the cutting files available for the cutter module currently open in VisualCut.
Cut queue information
Click a column header to sort the Jobs queue in ascending or descending order.
- Job: Displays the job name. By default, the queue is sorted by this column.
- Copies: Displays the number of completed copies followed by the total number of copies in the job. When both values are the same, the job is marked as completed.
- Done: Displays the completion status of the cutting job.
- Date: Displays the date of the job.
- Barcode: Displays the barcode identification number associated with the job.
- Dimensions: Displays the dimensions of the job.
- Printer: Displays the name of the printer used for the job.
The following buttons are available to manage the Jobs queue:
- Delete: Removes the selected job from the queue.
- Clean done: Removes all jobs marked as completed.
- Reset copies: Resets the completed-copy count for the selected job or jobs.
Cut path
The Path field identifies the folder that VisualCut monitors for new cutting files. CalderaRIP creates the cutting file in this folder after the print job is processed.
The path is initially configured when the cutter is added to CalderaRIP. To change the folder monitored by VisualCut:
- Click the […] button.
- Browse to the required folder.
- Click Open.
Use the Advanced parameters button to define how frequently VisualCut refreshes the Jobs queue and checks the selected path for new cutting files.
In the following example, VisualCut checks the cut path every 10 seconds to see if any new files have been created. When new files are found, they are added to the job queue.
Search by Input ID Number
Use the Input ID Number field to find a specific cutting job in the Jobs queue.
- Enter the job's identification number in the Input ID Number field.
- Press Enter.
The matching job is highlighted in the Jobs queue and loaded in VisualCut.

When you open VisualCut from the Spooler, the corresponding job is automatically selected in the Jobs queue and loaded in VisualCut.
