CalderaDock installation on Linux Ubuntu

CalderaDock V1.11 is the latest version of our toolbox that includes CalderaJobs functions compatible with CalderaRIP versions previous to V15.

Learn how to install CalderaDock on your computer with Linux Ubuntu operating system. In this article, we teach you how to do it with images of version 1.15 of this useful toolbox.

Step 1: Download the installation file

  • Log in to WorkSpace > Main Dashboard page.
  • Click on the Download for Linux (Ubuntu) button, to download the installation file.

Step 2:  Install the downloaded .deb file

  • Go to the folder where you saved the installation file (desktop, in this tutorial).
  • Once you have located the installation file, right-click to look at the options. Click on the Open with Other Application button.

  • The Ubuntu installation wizard will appear. Select Software Install.

  • Wait a few seconds for the installation files to load, and then click on Install.

  • Before proceeding with the installation, you will be asked to authenticate yourself.

  • The installation will now be carried out. You can follow the progress here:

Step 3: Enjoy CalderaDock!

  • Once the installation is finished, you can look for it in your applications:

  • Click on the corresponding icon and you are ready to use CalderaDock in your Linux Ubuntu operating system.
