⚠️ Installing older versions of DTX on Windows

When installing older versions of Caldera Direct-to-X RIP on Windows, the system will prompt you for administrator access (User Account Control - UAC).

If you deny or ignore this request, the installation will be incomplete, leading to issues such as the software failing to start, inability to access network shares, or unexpected behavior.

It is essential to grant administrator access to ensure a valid installation.

If you previously skipped this step, please reinstall Caldera Direct-to-X RIP before attempting to use it.

  Info - macOS Tahoe

On macOS Tahoe, the interface may look slightly different, but the process remains the same.

After selecting the executable, it may not appear in the list even though access has been granted. This is a macOS display issue. You should be able to launch the software once the process is complete.
