Adapt annotations to your production

The right information for the right task: different content for text and optical code

You can now customize the text and optical code contents of the annotation.

The redesigned Annotations tool now features an option to choose between text, optical code, or both.

If you select "Both", you can opt for "Same content" to use identical text and optical code, or choose "Custom content" for a unique optical code message.

Enlarge the annotation text to facilitate visual identification

Simplify the pick up task by modifying the size of the text annotation from 2mm to 50mm.

Prevent the annotation block from being cut off

You can now prevent the optical code from being cut, ensuring it remains readable and production flow remains smooth, by setting a positive margin size for the entire annotation block ranging from 0mm to 999mm.

Easily identify the different cut contours with color

Cut contours are now easier to recognize thanks to color coding. Each contour is associated with a color, shared across similar contour types. Default contours come with predefined colors, while user-defined contours are automatically assigned a readable color. All colors can be customized.

The Double-Sided & Multi-layer tool lets you prepare multi-layer files effortlessly. Add, remove, and rename layers, mirror images, and choose which layers receive cut marks. You now have access to ready-to-use, preconfigured recipe templates that you can start from and customize to match your needs. This allows you to get started quickly without needing to master every setting.

The menu has moved from the top bar to the left side and now gives you quick access to all areas of the application: Home, Tiling, Layout Creator, Settings, Help, and License information. Everything you need is just one click away.

Improved experience for non-connected ZCC devices

Irrelevant options are hidden by default, and you can manually set your controller version to ensure your cut files are compatible. This reduces confusion and lowers the risk of unusable cut files.

Better material refresh for connected cut devices

Keep your material list always up to date!

When you update materials on your Zund Cut Center or OptiScout controller, the list is now automatically refreshed in the software. You can also manually refresh it anytime in the Cutter options.

Unique global contour dictionary

Manage your cut contours more easily with a single global dictionary. Recipe-specific contour lists are no longer supported, and access to the global dictionary has been simplified from the recipes.
